ChooseFI PreK-12
Curriculum
Students need to be ready for life after graduation.
As young adults, they need to know how to determine needs versus wants, delay gratification, put together a budget, avoid debt, and maximize savings.
There's a problem.
Many students aren’t getting any of this much-needed training in school. In fact, according to the Council for Economic Education 2020 Survey of the States, only 21 states require high school students to take a course in personal finance.
We are here to help you solve it. We know educators want things to be different, and we also know it's hard to know where to start. From finding current and credible resources to creating engaging and memorable lessons, it's a big task.
The ChooseFI Foundation is ready to help.
A team of educators from across the country and around the globe joined the ChooseFI Foundation to create our PreK-12 Financial Literacy Curriculum.
The curriculum is totally free, easy to implement, and easy to adapt. Each unit includes ways to provide additional support and scaffolding, as well as extension and enrichment opportunities, for PreK-12 students.
Let's make financial literacy the foundation of the next generation's future.
