Resources For Families
Elementary School Meal Planning Made Easy
Food is a budget item we need to think about because it is one of the top 3 expenses in an average person's budget.
To help, we offer an instructional video for parents and a self-paced lesson for 3rd-5th graders. The lesson walks them through a four-step planning process, plus introduces price comparison and unit pricing. There's also an opportunity for hands-on learning as they master the meal planning process.
